Speed Typing Record Attempt

[Via HB Today]

Have you ever heard of Taryn Elliot? Well, she’s the fastest texter in Hawke's Bay…that’s in New Zeeland. The fifteen-year-old Havelock North High School student topped a Hawke's Bay Today survey which tested teenagers on just how fast they can write a message in their preferred mode of communication.
Taryn took just one minute and 15 seconds to type out the 160-character message:
The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human.
She could've wrote that message in 10 seconds using ZYB…too bad it was a mobile to mobile world speed typing record attempt. I only hope ZYB will soon organize a pc to phone Speed Typing Contest.
Anyway, Taryn is still 27 seconds slower than current world champion Craig Crosbie, 24, a Scottish factory worker, who typed the message in just 48 seconds, earning a place in the Guinness Book of Records. Well done '25 thingers Craig'!
